Garment Care 101
Garment Care 101
How to Care for Your Garment:
With proper care, your garments can last for many years. We do understand that wearing our garments at horse shows, rodeo events or even a night out can be tough on the garments.
Here are some helpful tips for keeping your garment in great shape:
Cleaning Instructions (please refer the wash care label attached to your garment):
Please remember that custom order shirts and jackets cannot be washed or dry cleaned.
- Hand Wash Only: Use mild detergent in a cold water bath.
- Spot Clean: Gently scrub stubborn spots with a soft sponge or rag.
- Drying: Hang or lay flat to dry.
- Ironing/Steaming: Use caution when ironing or steaming, and avoid direct heat on crystals, rhinestones and any embellishments on your garment
- Avoid Dry Cleaning: Do not dry clean your garment.
- Machine Use: Do not put your garment in the washing machine or dryer.
Tips:
- Sweat Protectors: Use sweat protectors in the armpits of shirts.
- Wear an Undershirt: This will help absorb sweat and protect the garment.
- Air it Out: Allow your garment to breathe before putting it in a garment bag.
- Garment Bag: always keep your custom garments in a garment bag for storage to avoid damage to your garments.
